STORAGE
 | G & T Storage in Knysna Industria is the
largest dedicated household storage company in the area. We specialize in the
packing, uplift, transport and storage of household furniture. Formerly Known
as Reids Removals - a well known "institution" in Knysna - we have built up
the company over the last four years to a sizable operation with 4 warehouses
and approximately 1000 sq. meters of storage area. |
| Our warehouses are secure, clean and dry.
Security is excellent, with only 2 key holders, and no general access into the
warehouses. We use Chubb Alarms with Armed Response. Security in Knysna as a
whole is much better than in large centers like Johannesburg and Cape Town. |
| Moving house is unsettling and our job is to be of assistance
to you wherever we can. We start with a personal visit to assess your needs
and from then on we try to help you solve problems and help you to organize
your move and storage for you. We offer a full house pack-up service if
required where we personally do all of your packing for you. Many of our
overseas customers make use of this, simply because coming back to South
Africa to pack up their household is not cost effective for them. Because we
offer personalized service we are often asked to arrange the whole operation
for them. |
| People who are building in our area often use our
warehouses as a base to store their building materials. Access to goods is
offered during working hours, and we offer a "Small Delivery Service" to local
areas in and around Knysna in our one ton bakkie. |
| We supply packing materials including bubble wrap, buff
tape, a selection of cartons, foam wrap etc. |
| Pest control is carried out every 3 months. |
TRANSPORT
 | We work closely with the best and most reliable local
transporters, and can arrange local deliveries and collections throughout the
Garden Route. |
| For moves to or from Johannesburg or Cape Town we deal with
selected well known transport companies who have proved to be well priced and
professional. We offer to get a selection of quotes for you to make the final
decision. |
| Many larger transporters use our warehouses as a depot
facility when intercity logistics require drop off and collection times and
dates to be synchronized. |
| Some of the suburbs in Knysna simply cannot be entered by
larger transport trucks, so we offer a 'shuttle service' in our one ton bakkie
at very reasonable rates. |
We strive to be professional, reliable and helpful to our customers, whom we take an active interest in. We are known as "Knysna's Favourite Storage Company" for a good reason!
